Small World!! Zenith/Craigslist - Videokarma.org TV - Video

I found a way to search all craigslists within the country, so of course, I search for some TVs for kicks. I searched "zenith space command" and one of the results was an ad from Omaha, NE of a Zenith console TV, but the seller found a picture of me and my Zenith System 3 to use!!!!!!! THAT IS CREEPY WEIRD!!!

Should email the guy and tell him you're the owner of the pic and cease and desist.........

I've found photos of my cameras from Flickr when I looked for a similar camera to add to my collection. I emailed the guy and asked him all kinds of questions about the camera, which he answered just as if he owned it. He insisted that the photo was the actual photo of his camera, and when I pointed out that it was from a Flickr account, he said it was his Flickr account. Sigh. I notified that auction site; they did nothing. So I changed my photo on Flickr to an obscene gesture. His listing was still linked to it. That fixed his wagon.

My boss did the same thing - changed one of the photos to a "This is not for sale" image. The guy clogged up his inbox with the usual "WHY DID YOU CHANGE YOUR PHOTO - I WAS USING IT" rants. Needless to say, the fleaBay seller had pretty poor feedback. Google and some others have "trackback" utilities that'll tell you if your photo is being used elsewhere. One of our images was used - watermark and all! We had some fun with that one - legal scare to the "lifting" company ( in Calif ) - who blamed the error on their "web guy".

What's creepy is the eBay and CL sellers that are obviously using stock photos, but say something in the listing like "not as clean as photo" or "brand only, but not what is pictured" - makes you question their intelligence....
