Sanyo short wave

Hi, new here, usually in the other site. Here,s my problem. Got a Sansui 9 band sw radio. Am, Fm, and a bit of Lw I,m able 2 recieve. Problem,s with the Sw bands. Opened her up cleaned and everything looked fine? Could this just B my location? Or where would I begin 2 see what the problem is???

Could be the bandswitch needs a De-Oxit bath... Lotsa SW doesn't really work til dark...Try WWV on 5, 10, 15 or 25 MC....

see my reply over at audiokarma. also i just did some searching and it seeems that these radios were prone to some of the s/w bands not working (lets hope this is not the case with yours)
