Got a 1973 Sony KV-1201 12-inch Trinitron color TV here in North Bay just on Monday.

On Monday, I got a 1973 Sony KV-1201 12-inch Trinitron color TV(Canadian model-RARE!). It has both VHF and UHF tuning. This 1973 Sony came from a person who just passed away in my friend's appartment building as they were cleaning out her appartment.
On the back, the red ID label also has
Serial #303694 &
Distrubuted by Genreal Distributors, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada as well
as an official CSA ID label as well.
Gotta check to see if it works this weekend.

Cool, I have one of those, they're great little sets. You have to watch out for the instant on with these, disable it or unplug the set when not in use. How about some pictures of it??

Yep, I'm fully aware of the "Instant On" from other members here on VK and it's wear on CRTs as well in 1960's-1979's TVs. The Sony KV-1201 is currently unplugged as well as it hasn't been used in many years as well I do believe. Will get some pictures once I fully figure out my new digital camera I just got as a Chriatmas present from my friend. I know there about 3 or 4 other members here on VK who also have Sony KV-1201s as well from 1972-73.
