I Haven't Posted Sets for Sale Recently, so here are some......
http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Heathkit...#ht_500wt_1156
21" 1976 Heathkit Console, apparently built by the seller (looks like it works very well; I'd get it if I was in the area). http://cgi.ebay.com/Zenith-Color-Sen...wt_907?afsrc=1 This late-1980's Zenith, which I posted earlier, is now Free Shipping. http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-SEARS-9-...#ht_500wt_1156 Another small Sears set. http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-TV-On-A-...#ht_500wt_1156 1981 B&W Panasonic with a monopole built-in antenna in decent condition. http://cgi.ebay.com/PHILCO-FORD-COLO...0#ht_874wt_907 This Philco, originally priced at $129.99 when I posted it on here a couple months ago, has dropped to $59.99. Because a 1970's TV set with a picture problem is definitely not worth even that much money, we can only assume that this set will continue to drop in price in the upcoming months. http://cgi.ebay.com/TV-MOTOROLA-Work...b#ht_886wt_907 Finally a decently-priced color console. http://cgi.ebay.com/TV-SYLVANIA-23-v...#ht_1383wt_907 http://cgi.ebay.com/MAGNAVOX-19-TUBE...#ht_1001wt_907 http://cgi.ebay.com/SYLVANIA-25-colo...a#ht_814wt_907 Obviously, some of these sets are extremely overpriced (some more than others), but keep in mind, these TV's look like their in perfect working order and for all we know, this seller could have financial problems and believes that those seeking "vintage" electronics would be willing to pay large sums of money for his 1960's and 1970's TV sets, even though we all know that, in spite of their scarcity, they aren't worth hundreds of dollars. |

boystowndj is sure putting them out there...nice looking Motorola. Something odd about seeing a works-in-a-drawer with an old fashioned style cabinet like that.
The freakiest thing in this pile is that French-Provincial table model. I hardly know what to say about that thing!

That '77 Sylvania metal cased B&W table model is rare as I don't know what; but, I don't think it's worth his asking price. I have the console version of that set from '78 and would love to have one of these metal cabinet table models from the same period, if the price was right and it was local. Zenith also made some "late" large screen metal cabinet table models and console model "large screen" B&W sets. The one and only solid state metal cased 23" B&W that I've owned was a Zenith and that was back around '91. I think I sold it for $40 and that was back when one could still sell a good B&W set.
That little 9" Sears set is interesting. In fact, I just saw it in the '84 Sears Christmas catalog and I think it was $69.99 when new. Around the same time, Sears sold a 12" B&W set with A/V input jacks for connecting a computer. That Sylvania color console has the same control layout as my '79 E48 delta gun CRT console. Since this one is from '81, it probably has an inline tube and uses the E53 chassis. |

If someone had about $1000 to spare, they could really get some nice sets from this guy.

That French provential Magnavox originally had a matching stand available for it. Made it look not quite as strange.

Gotta love the old school metal trash can handles on that set. If it were local it would be mine..Its like the Packard Bell 'bondage' console with the chrome legs, leather corners and chrome straps I got. Just bizarre enough to be irresistible
Isnt boystowndj whats-his-name on this forum? He has a lot of cool stuff. I walked away from one of those zenith hotel sets with the radio and have been kicking myself, or did you grab that one Nut? |

Panasonic made a Too-Cute 7" low-line SS color set in the early SS days...I sure would like to cabbage on one o' THEM some day....Only seen one example here...Seems like it was a goldenrod color case...

I looked on boystowndj's Ebay listings and the 1972 Zenith 19CC19 that he was selling for about $200 was missing. I wonder if he actually found someone to buy it. It looked like it worked perfectly, but it was just very expensive.
