Yeppers, it's color.
Probably Panasonic's answer to the KV-4000 but I've never seen one in person.

Actually there was a Panasonic version of the 3.7" KV-4000; the CT-3311 (3.3"). This one you got, is, I believe a 4 or 5" set. Nice find!

Yeah, but, try & find ANY info on one now...There's also apparently NO easy way of hooking up an external antenna to 'em...One of mine has an attached box that you can hook up a VCR-"Audio in/out & Video in/out" -sort of a dog-ass way of doing it. Maybe w/the original packaging there was an adaptor, I've never gotten that though, all 3 of mine have Fleabay finds. All that being said, back in the Good 'Ol Days of Anna Logg-Remember HER ?!?- mine DID have remarkably good pictures-maybe not quite KV-4000 territory, but darn close..

Exact model is Panasonic CT-5533, definitely color, Color & Tint knobs can be seen on side panel.

Thanks to Jim M. for two of his pictures.

Apparently it's also got A/V in on the back panel, so could be used with an ATSC converter.

It arrived today, I had forgotten it was coming, I got out of a training meeting and there was the box.

It made it completely intact and this baby is nearly mint!

It had some gummy goo on the plastic tube surround, probably grease or tobacco that was dran in by the HV charge, it cleaned off easily with a little cleaner though.

Here it is sitting on my grungy work bench with Hawaii 5-0 on the screen.

It does indeed have inputs (and outputs) on the back so it can be used with a DVD player or whatever source is handy. It works great but the volume control is a little scratchy as usual.

It was made in Sept 83.

It took a little rummaging through my junk box to find a wall wart with sufficient power to run it, I found one with 12V 1.25A output and that just barely did it, a 900Ma supply caused the picture to pull in and wave!
