Can't Identify this Craigslist Set
http://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/ele/1957255333.html
It looks to be from around the mid-1980's and is cable-ready. Somebody notify Doug about this listing. He might be interested, considering the seller lives close to him. |

It's a Zenith, I have no idea what model but I bet Doug does!

I'm sure he'd want it too (if he has space of course). It's literally like 20 minutes from his home. Unlike him, Hinsdale is actually kind of far from me (well, like an hour or so).

It's a Zenith system 3 from the mid-to-late '80's.

I remember a kid in the neighborhood had a console with those controls - and the door broke off while his dad was changing channels one evening. It was pretty new back then, 1985-86.

These must have sold really well around here-I have found several in our local thrift stores. In fact, one Goodwill had three of them at one time during the summer. I don't think any of them sold, though....
I think they all had a manufacturing dates of '84. |

It's too bad. I heard that Goodwill isn't accepting anymore sets, at least in southern Wisconsin. I don't know about elsewhere.
