Question Television Manufactuer that went back to Delta-Gun CRT from In-Line CRT

I have noticed that the Television Manufactuers like Admiral and RCA I have known of that went back to Delta-Gun CRT from the Advanced Technology In-Line CRT. The early in-line CRT has a deflection yoke that has been bonded onto the crt that is a cone-shape. These CRT's are 19VEJTCO2 AND 19VGQTCO1 that looks alike! Any ideas the tthe reason why?

those tubes are inline. They are the same tube, the rca has a round yoke plug, the other has a square plug.
Problem is the plastic base the crt socket fits on always melted.

There were a few consoles in the early 80s that went back to a delta gun 25V tube, but I don't know of any portables. The CTC-97 came with either an inline or delta gun.

I have a '78 Zenith 19" delta gun set and that's the newest portable I've seen with a delta gun tube. Wait, correction, I have a CTC92 (IIRC) 19" RCA colortrak with a digital keypad tuner from late '79 that uses a delta gun tube. RCA, Zenith, Sylvania, Admiral, and Wells-Gardner all made consoles using delta gun tubes up until at least 1980. I actually thought '79 was the cutoff year for Zenith, until I found a Sams Photofact covering a Zenith 23LC45Z ('80 model) 23" CCII set with a delta gun tube. Years ago, I had a Teknika (IIRC, wells-gardner built) 25" cable ready console from '80-'81 with a delta gun tube. I think it's pretty safe to assume that there were no delta gun sets made for the US market after around '81.
