Interesting. 1949-style set, but with a 24G21 chassis, and that suggests 1950. Chassis looks more like a '49 28T chassis than a '50 G series. Also has a 12UP4, odd again. No idea what power supply will work with that one. Better check the scematics first, boys & girls. If interested, you should double check with the estate people to be sure the PS isn't still sittin' somewheres.

http://cgi.ebay.com/1950-Zenith-G243...item45f354111c At least this one has knobs and power supply. I am not affiliated with this auction, jr Last edited by jr_tech; 06-07-2010 at 12:25 AM. |

There must be a million Zenith portholes out there. Seems like not a day goes by when there aren't at least a couple to choose from on eBay or craigslist. Next to Predictas and Motorola VT-71s, I'm starting to think these are not scarce at all, but one of the commonest vintage sets.
