get some "moving men" they have two types one slide on smooth hard surfaces and the other carpet. put them under the legs and it slides very easy. I load monsters much larger that that by myself all the time, slide to car, lift up one end, put moving men under legs now in car, lift the other end and push in. My guess is that is not very heavy, does not look like particle board, and its B&W so not a lot in the chassis.

I saw that unit as well, and am wondering who manufactured it and in what year (from the looks of the tuner cluster, it doesn't have UHF so it is probabably pre-'64). From what I can see of the front of the console in the photos, it looks like an Emerson set, but I can't be sure as the pictures are too small. I tried to zoom in on the TV control panel with Picasa, but when I do that the photo breaks up into pixels. I don't recognize the stereo control panel, either.

I'd offer her a few bucks to hold it for me.
