That might be the one right before the XL-100, it's all SS. Trans-Vista, New-Vista or something like that I think. I had one from 1972, one year before XL-100. It had a bad CRT and I had to get rid of it for space, one month later, I find a CRT
 Oh well........

very well made set.rcas from that era were some of the best ever.i remember some of these sets had safety glass crts and some didnt.accucolor was a fine set and set the bar skyward.rca delivered again with the coming of the xl100!

I see an AccuMatic switch... Doesn't that make it CTC-46 (first modular XL-100) or newer?
Regardless of which chassis, those were well-made, and make a nice picture. Especially if you get rid of that non-glare white face tube and put a Sylvania or Zenith tube in there. Charles

DaveWM, I assume you are going to go grab it, if not, I strongly recommend that you do.
 My favorite part of the controls is the tilt out control bin where the two little knobs are sticking through it. All the color controls and whatnot are in there facing up at you. That "bar" for the power switch is neat too. Push down on it for on and pull up for off.

I have one of these out in the shop now with a busted CRT neck. I have two CRTs, I'll put one in it someday, I guess.

The Sams index says that model number is a CTC-46 (1972).

I have a CTC-40 with the power bar but since the tv was at one time part of a combo the power bar is fake. It looks like a power bar but it's not. The only thing to turn that set on and off is the master switch in the pull out control bin. The main power for the set was of course on the radio controls. It took some interesting wiring config to get the set working outta the combo.
Destoyed the red pushbutton CB in the process

Btw. Didn't accucolor come out in the CTC-39? I used to have one and I swear it had accucolor and it was a tube set w/ rhe 23v CRT ?

I know there were some 19" tube type sets that were AccuColor. Years ago, I had one from '74.
The set in question could be a CTC44, CTC46, maybe even a CTC40 or a tube type CTC39.
