Nice RCA Color set, posibly CTC-17, on CL

There is a nice RCA set, on the Cleaveland CL. Cabinet looks nice from post, and has doors too. Only $25. Again, I have no room, and money is still tight, till I get going on my new Job with Pinnacle service.

I might have to jump on this. I live about 15 minues away. I'm moving into an apartment near campus this spring and need a nice set for the living room.

I would be all over that like a cheap suit if it was within 100 miles.

Doesn't look like a 17. More like a CTC-28. CTC-17's (I have 2 of 'em), generally have all the controls under the front panel, Vert, Horiz, Contrast, and Tone. Color and Tint are under the tuner and the knobs for those are placed under the tuner panel cover.

Do you guys think this would fit in the back of a 2002 Subaru legacy wagon? I've been able to fit car doors and other large awkward objects in it before.

There's a good chance since the cabinet is rather small. Might have to lay it face down on a blanket if it's too tall. Good luck, I hope you can get it. It would look great as a living room set

Or when you're out of money, out of room, and constantly getting yelled at for all the "junk".

Replied to the seller early in the afternoon. Haven't gotten a reply yet. We'll see. If not for the apartment, there's a little student run Cafe in the basement of one of the dorms where this would fit right in. I've already got a little magnavox 6v6 stereo amp and a pair of early 60's Olson speakers set up down there that people seem to really enjoy.

The late 80's zenith system 3 console that's down there now has a really weak CRT, so I've been looking for another set. It's probably going to end up in my apartment though. Tube sets require to much maintenance to be running in a public area for hours on end, and I don't feel like playing TV repairman for a bunch of philosophy majors.

Well, It looks like someone beat me to it. The seller took down the ad and I never received a reply. Oh well, win some, lose some.
