My RCA Brandywine Console TV from 1967

I got some new pictures of my RCA Brandywine Console Television I got in the Summer of 2006; she is still going strong. She is a very lovely and very large solid cherry or antiqued Maple RCA 1967 or 1968 Victor Television Console with a build in turntable and AM & FM Stereo System. I have been told that it is a Mark I Deluxe Home Entertainment Center HH-852 (The Brandywine). with scalloped gallery and bracket feet; this is a Colonial lowboy with an authentic replica Federal Period Design. She is Antiqued Colonial Maple on selected hardwoods. It is made with selected hardwoods, and lids and top veneers are on reinforced wood fiber. I really need to put her somewhere special so I can play my records and use the radio that is now covered by two other consoles. So much to save so little time and space. Does anyone have a model like this and have any history on the consoles made by RCA of this time period?

She is really a beautiful piece if furniture.

I think the control panel is the coolest I have ever seen.

I like the glossy texture and finish of the Picture tube it is very well made.
As I stated in the Antique Radio Forum, we have to save these old girls because they are not going to be anymore made.

Is that a CTC40 chassis?

I worked for a TV repair man back in the late 70's and he had a similar (if not exact) set, his was a 40 and I remember him telling me it was the first Solid State RCA Color set.

His kids ran it constantly and we must have put two or rebuilt three CRT's in it over the years, back when you could buy them for $35 of course.

Wow, what a gorgeous RCA.

Glad to see someone else who has an obsession for 70's/80's/90's console sets.
I think the last time I counted them I was up to 15 - someday I have to thin the herd - ran out of room long ago.
I should post a few pix sometime - I've got 2 of those CM consoles from the 80's and a 13" portable - still great everyday watchers.

I have the same model,(check my post under estate sale finds) it has the CTC-21 chassis in it.

Hi Eric H, my old girl has a replacement CRT in as well I think the repair shop note on the new CRT was from the 1970s'. Check out this Ad from 1960! I not sure if it is a CTC40 chassis, I will have take some time and check it out!
