ARGGGH.....to freakin far away.

Nice looking set though....I do hope it gets saved. From the faceplace, looks like it may be a CTC-38....lots of 6gh8a's though......the crt doesn't seem to have cataracts......wonder if its any good. Coloration of the crt looks fairly originial but with as many crt's as the family ctc-21 went through, seems unlikely.

I would love to have this combo....dang it.

Oh yeah....I definitely second that. Has an almost executive of the period look. Very clean. Almost reminds me of one of those home bar cabinets they used to make.

Ahh, just a sucker for a pretty face.

The bar effect is what worries me, some DA liable to "convert" into a mini fridge.

<sigh> ya just had to say that didn't ya. unfortunately, it is a truth. hopefully someone will save her.

Ohio is just a bit too far for me. Already going to Indianapolis to pick up a g-2000 which is a stretch already....that and limited cargo space.

In the early 2000's, my neighbor had a set almost like that. He actually asked me if I would fix it for him one day. We turned it on, let it warm up, and it sounded like the 4th of July inside the TV. About 3 weeks later, his health started going downhill and his family came to move him, and the contents of the house somewhere else. The old man and his family were the type that thought everything was worth a fortune and who knows what they did with the TV. I think the old man had used it up until the late '90's or early 2000's as it still had a '90's era Comcast cable box connected to the TV when I saw it. He also had a nice tube type RCA console stereo that was carried away.

This appears to be a CTC-40. The EARLY model, and yes--if you could...go and get it for me. I will come soon, and pick it up in my van.
