Doug probably already has most of them, as I quote the ZENith Master:

I was very fortunate in 2003 to run across a full factory Zenith service manual set in the Zenith binders. I purchased them at an estate sale of a TV tech who passed. I basically have every manual for zeniths first color set to about 1978. Its one of the most valued peices I own aside from the TV's themselves.

thanks for the link. Actually, I dont have any of the early tuner service manuals which are in one of the lots, so that would be something I need to go after.

As for the quote, that was probably my favorite estate sale ive ever been to on the TV side of things. That was in March of '03 when I picked up all those zenith binders. I remember them all being on a shelf in the basement and when I spotted them, I immediately asked how much. The guy at the sale said $2.00 per binder. There were 10 zenith binders and 10 RCA binders and about 8 motorola binders, all were for color sets. I bought all of them. As I was paying for them, a couple guys came down the stairs and then started pulling them off the shelf as they were going to buy them! I told them I just bought them and the guys were like "yeah, well theres no sold sign and you dont have them in your hands yet". Fortunately the guy running the sale in the basement spoke up and said I already paid, so leave them be. I remember how po'd these guys were and the one guy says "what the hell would anyone want these for, I cant believe somone else bought them". That was the ultimate case of me being at the right place at the right time. I picked up a ton of other zenith stuff and test equipment that day, much of it I use all the time. I wish I had a picture of that sale and my car. I had a '78 Pontiac Bonneville at the time and I had that thing loaded down completely, stuff stacked in the trunk, and up to the top in the back seat! They were practically giving away the TV stuff. I had much of it inside my car still the next day and when i went to work, I spotted a mint little '68 Zenith 15Y6C15 chassis 14" color portable on the curb and I had to dig around and make room to fit it in the car! I never saw one of those before so that was something totally new for me. That wasnt too long ago, but they were good times.
