National is what Panasonic is marketed as outside the US. The company is Matsushita. (Did I spell that right???)

Thats the one with the weird crt that is a rectangular envelope crt but used the large color roundie neck and gun.

here in Europe, matsushita products were branded "national panasonic" until the late 70s, then just panasonic

I've found alot of Matsushita made Table radios badged as "National Panasonic" here in the States as well.

In Romania we had some tvs that had Japanese components into it (they where full tubed, live chassie - I hate live chassies, black and white). 1st of them was called Naţional (Natzional) V.S. 43-614 - it had "National-Panasonic (Matsushita)" components - sometimes the picture tube wasn't "Panasonic", but "Valvo" (Holland/West-Germnay). The "National" from the Japanese auction woul fit with the Romanian National.
