Warehouse 13

What do you guys think?
I love the librarian and this is very similar and love stuff like this.
I am hoping that it catches on.
Now if they can just improve their movies.

We liked the concept but though the execution of it a bit worn. Being it's summer we will most likely watch it and see if it gets better or tanks.

The reviews of it on HULU TV were not so good.

Fairly interesting, if not entirely original premise in the pilot. It put me in mind of the old Friday the 13th TV series. I watched the second episode tonight, and enjoyed it a little more, so I'm hopeful the improvement will continue.

its a warehouse in N dakota with a gazzillion items that have unusual properties and the lawyer guy who was going marry Daffny on Frazier is the sole proprieter, along with a few others not on the premises. 2 SS/FBI or something agents, of course a male and female, were sent there to locate things out in the world that mite be injurious to nat secur , get it and bring it to WH13 for perminent storage. you have to undergo the usual antagonism of the female towards the male and of course she is a super woman who KOs the bad guys, typical of all tv nowadays, and listen to all of their family troubles , like we would care. But hey, its 21st century tv , what else would you expect.? its mildly entertaining and tolerable. more so than some of the other garbage the idiots put out.

I completly forgot about that show. I liked that one too.
I enjoy the show for what it is but I have always liked shows like this.

When they entered the warehouse for the first time I was bought back to the last scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark. It would be cool to have the Ark in the background of a shot, or refer to it....hint hint---if there are any Warehouse 13 writers out there in AK land.

I'm not one to sit in front of a TV but last night I sat and watched half of this show. If it hadn't been time to go for a walk with my wife I would have watched the whole thing. It's in my DVR for someday.

BTW, I think the chick is pretty hot for some reason which probably helps keep me watching.

I, too, have enjoyed it to a point. It reminds me of the made for tv movies, The Libarian, w/Noah Wylie and Bob Newhart. And yes, the chick w/the overbite is hot!

At first glance, I thought the OP was starting to confess to a schoolkid crush on the school librarian or something... this show hasn't made it to Hong Kong TV yet. The premise sounds intriguing, though, and the actress pictured looks pretty nice.

I share oldhifiguy's disgust with Hollyweird's continual attempts at social re-engineering through their unrealistically biased characters and plots [Talk about stereotyping and prejudice - the TV producers are, in fact, the WORST at it, for all their outspoken lip-service against it!], but can usually force myself to ignore that stuff enough to still enjoy the better parts of shows, since there isn't much out there in the way of alternatives (except OLD shows, which I also enjoy!).

Maybe this show will make it here next season, at least on a channel that I get. [It might actually be here on a channel I don't subscribe to?] If so, I'll watch it, at least once or twice.
