My working 1948 RCA 8TS30 picture
Here's a picture of my 1948 RCA 8TS30
My old friend Henry Pyle who repaired my radios when I first got into the hobby and inspired me to start doing my own repairs just recently passed away. This was his own personal TV and he offered it to me right after he quit the repair business for a ridiculously low sum of money and refused to take more. I miss talking to Henry and his wonderful stories from the merchant marines in WWII to working for General Dynamics in the 50's and 60's and his interest in getting new people started in a great hobby. |

He sounds like a great guy and wonderful friend. That RCA looks really good, I have one waiting for restoration here.
