Martyrs
French "Extreme" Horror movie (think Haute Tension, Inside or Audition). A young girl escapes her kidnappers that tortured her. Years later she, along with her friend, find the people she thinks did the crimes & sets about getting revenge. That is the basic plot, everything else would be a spoiler. This movie is extremely violent, but by the end makes you think (which is pretty rare nowadays). This is the first movie I've seen where the DVD contains an introduction by the director apologizing for creating the movie.
