Brought 4 more home, 2 are Halo's
Brashears Radio and TV Service in Hannibal MO is going out of business after 86 years. Here are some of my scores today. The Blonde GE has sound but no raster, I have not taken the back off. The rest of the sets show their stuff! All sets have been recapped. Also got a bunch of knobs and a NOS CRT, which I believe fits the older Halo. I now have as many tv sets as Elvis.

The pics are when I brought them home and plugged them in. I was kind of amazed that 3/4 actually worked. I tweaked the newer halo and now have a great performer and it is now our bedroom tv. The older halo has a weak crt as you can tell, but works good enough to watch as is for now. The Westinghouse I cleaned up and moved it to my tv room today. I think it will be my primary tv, it does perform very well, especially with a little tweaking I did. The GE still is dark, went thru the tubes yesterday and dont think it is anything there. Right now I suspect low high voltage.

Do they have any good tube testers laying around? I'm sure I could figure out some way to get one to this corner of MO...

Sorry Sam, he is keeping his tools. He will continue to do business on a strictly if he wants to do it basis. He lives in Quincy IL, and drives to Hannibal MO everyday. The winter driving has worn him out. I have been snooping evilbay for a better CRT rejuvinator,, saw lots of tube testers on there.
