I hate to see that happen to a Porthole; but I have to admit it looks pretty cool. At least he didn't throw the chassis away.

Wow kinda creepy, reminds me of the gas station scene in the new House Of Wax movie!!! At least they were smart enough to save the chassis and tube....

He says the picture tube and chassis go with it. If the picture tube is good, that's actually not that bad of a deal given the cabinet has been restored like that. You can scoop out the gas station and put it back together. And I have yet to see anything as bad as that set that was turned into a cat box a while back.

That is pretty cool and yes, he was smart to save the guts. Finally someone smart. I guess that's what one would look like with a color picture. I'd put the guts back in, get 'er goin' and put the diarrhe...I mean diorama inside '70s console with a bad CRT or something and then sell it. And yes, that cat box thing is absolutely a disgrace. I let 'em have it on that one. I have a big mouth
