Anyone watch Elvis Costello's new tv show?

Elvis Costello's Spectacle is the name and I watched the first episode last friday night, 9am est (on CTV in Canada) with special guest Elton John. It was really good! And you got a sense that Elton was talking about stuff he never discusses otherwise, all about his roots, who he was inspired by, etc. Elvis can approach these legends at a different level than, say, Letterman or Oprah, etc.
I hear this week he is actually getting the Police back together for a performance and some chat.

If you like rock, check it out. You won't be disappointed. Here's the wiki 411:

Yes I watched the show. I am a fan of Elvis Costello. I do agree that him being him, he is able to dig a little deeper than another interviewer might, mutual respect maybe? Anyway, I look forward to his upcoming shows.

O.K, So this week He brought out each member of the Police for a one-on-one interview, then he interviewed the whole band and they played a couple of numbers together. Elvis accused Sting of ripping him off on the reggae beat in Roxanne that he had introduced in Watching the detectives, which Sting denied. Elvis later copped to ripping it off himself from The Clash. Brilliant! You can still cut the tension in this group with a knife, but they seem to put it all aside once they play!

The talk is amazing and he brings out things in these luminaries that your garden variety talk show just can't reach for. And the music is incredible!

Next week- Kris Kristofferson, Rosanne Cash, Norah Jones & John Mellencamp.
