Knowing, with N. Cage
I saw this afternoon and liked it a lot..the end was not what I would have done, but I thought it was great. Many tears actually in the movie theatre. Special effects were pretty real and gut wrenching to watch.

I just watched Dark City again last night. From the reviews I've read on Knowing, Alex Proyas has gotten even better as a director (& Dark City is pretty damn good!).

Yeah, the special effects were a kick in the teeth. None of that "let's show the car exploding over and over from ten differnt angles" crap. Just the cold, analytical eye of the camera, with an almost documentary feel. I'm afraid I was disappointed in the ending. Too cliched for me.
