Mod 1974 RCA 5" cheap.
Someones selling one of those cool RCA combo 5" sets for $25.
TV doesn't work but it looks clean. I'm tempted because I've wanted one of these since I saw one in my High School Electronic class, but the last thing I need in more stuff. I'll feel less bad if someone from AK gets it. ![]() http://cgi.ebay.com/RCA-model-AS059Y...3A1|240%3A1318 |

If anyone here gets this and needs parts, let me know. I have the same one but the CRT didn't make it in shipping. A transformer came loose and smashed the neck. Everything else is good.

I've seen those around, and I never knew they were that early! I assumed early 80s. I'd grab it.... Being '74, I wonder if that's a TRUE RCA and was made here?

I have one; Taiwan built. Mine basically works but has an intermittent that I need to fix someday. My bigger complaint is that a plastic gear in the clock fell apart-watching time pass with this thing is more entertaining than most TV shows these days!
I don't recall what I paid for mine but I suspect it was about half of this.
