Beltron you know where
Not mine but a public service for all looking for one. Looks to have enough adaptors for most use. Has the same Appleway id that mine has. Who were they and what did they have to do with Beltron? And I am a long way from Spokane.

Under the sticker...
Hey Dave, you got me wondering, and so when I peeled back the 'John's TV' sticker, there it was.

The answer lies in the papers in the pockets of my beltron; it seems to cover its history beginning with undated operating instructions from Appleway Electronics Inc. in Spokane and ends with a Stanco Sales paper dated 7-1-89!
The original Appleway paper notes: "Your warranty is your lease agreement. We at Appleway Electronics will provide you with a completely satisfactory up-dated piece of equipment throughout the term of your lease." Other paper is dated August 21, 1972 (Appleway), April 5, 1973(Appleway), March 1, 1977 (Edtron Industries, Inc.), 5-15-80 (Stanco), and a few others over the years. Attached is a shot of a note from 'Stanley' to the then caretaker of my Beltron, John's TV in New Hampshire, no doubt trying to drum-up some business; it's the 5-15-80 listing above. Pete |

Here's a bit more history of Beltron from its Edtron days. Just discovered in the folds of my Beltron document holder.
