Chromacolor module whazzit?

Just got done poking around the innards of my CCII trying to track down the occasional decrease in luminance. Finally found it - on the 'low level luma' module. There's a white ceramic(?) part with a black backside on the board marked with a U as the beginning of the part number. It had a cracked solder joint at one of its pins. Touched it up and all is well; in fact, better than ever.

I know U commonly designates an IC - is that what this thing is? 'Couplate' of some sort?

Andy -

Thanks! Hadn't ever seen one in that form, just the standard epoxy-dipped ones.
