That IS cool. Bet its heavy to carry around. And bet they were pricey when new!!!

One thing to note: He mentions the pix quality being high due to the tuse of a comb filter. I don't doubt this claim, but was wondering if these units had the filter on the monitor chassis or if they had some sort of board performing the filtering internal to the unit/VTR.

Nice find!!! There is a higher-end Panasonic AG-560 that includes a TV tuner. I have one and bought it brand new in the box (lucky me). It uses a geared G-Chassis teeth belt. Comes with 4-head mono. It's not really that hard to carry around, actually.
