Visit to A UK TV & Radio Collection: Pictures!
Good day Gentlemen,
During a trip to southern England, i had the good fortune to visit John W.'s beautiful TV & Radio Collection. John is a very welcoming & amicable person and i warmly thank him here for this wonderful visit. I've uploaded around 60 snapshots (640 x 480 resolution) to my PhotoBucket account: http://s281.photobucket.com/albums/k...-%20UK%202008/ PhotoBucket displays in the opposite order from loading, so the collection starts with TVs on Page 3. And what a start! a mint 1937 HMV Mirror-Lid set. Look at the CRT, it looks so new there are no ion burns whatsoever. Enjoy the pictures! Best Regards jhalphen

Very interesting! He has a little bit of everything. What a treat to see so many things we will never run across in the US. The only item that I've seen here (West coast of the US) is that odd little Murphy console radio with the curved front. It was overpriced and sat unsold in a local antique shop for a long time.

Very nice! We dont get to see these beautiful sets very often on this side of the pond and its always nice seeing them home in their natural enviroment playing. I love the radio's too! Thanks for sharing!
