Any "Weeds" fans here?

I get HBO, but no Showtime. Was curious about "Weeds"...got Season 2 on DVD as a gift and picked up a used copy of Season 1 on Amazon. Been thoroughly enjoying the first 7 episodes and will pick up with episode 8 tonite. My wife is semi-tolerant of the fact that I'm head-over-heels for Mary Louise Parker.

I used to have Showtime... it's a funny show with great characters.

I've enjoyed the show anytime I've seen it, but I don't have Showtime.

My wife watched it...I saw a few, and eventually realized that there wasn't a single character in the show that I liked. Everybody ended up bothering me, and I had nobody to root for...I lost interest. MLP does get nekkid-er as the show goes on, though, so there is something to stick around for.

All the good, promising shows seem to end up as soap operas with ludicrous plot situations once they get some level of success. Maybe I expect too much...

Season 1 and 2 were good, but the plot in season three started to get kind of ridiculous/implausible.

I'll still probably Netflix Season 4 when it come out though.

F-YA! I love that show, can't wait for more action after the 'break'..

of course, i always burn some weeds first so.... maybe that helps!

If you have netflix, it is available for instant viewing there. I keep meaning to start watching it there, but I haven't yet...
