Rca Ctc-38?

Well im picking up this badboy sometime this weekend and was wondering if you guys recognize the cabinet or the model? I know the pictures could be better.

It looks to me like a CTC-38 or 39 68-69-70 possibly but I know the ctc-39 carried all the way to 74 possibly. Deffinatly looks like a tube type.

Thanks!

Wow, nice! Im going to say its a 39. Im guessing only because of the radio. I took a combo apart years ago that had a ctc-39 and had that exact same radio tuner. It was about a 1970 I think. I still have the chassis!

Darn it, missed it. Someone picked it up already. Oh well, I hope it's a restorer...

Sorry you missed it... I say it was a 39 or even a 40/44 solid state set. A lot of the combo units with that style control panel had the solid state chassis. Usually the cheaper models had the 39.

I mentioned the seller if you were the one that was possibly picking up this set freakaftr8 and he gave little info. You collect just tube sets?? I'll try to call when can.
