I cannot believe a TV/remote (even SC!) instruction manual from 48 years ago went for over $100 on ebay. I can see putting an opening bid that high on something like a CT100 or some other rare TV, but to ask that much for just the manual . . . good grief!

Less than $1 makes a lot more sense, especially for manuals and schematics old enough to vote and then some. Heck, that's less than I paid ($5) for a copy of a Sams for one of my old radios a few months ago. The next time I need an old schematic I think I'll look to ebay, if I cannot find it on NostalgiaAir or some other free download site. Once in a while one runs into ridiculously high opening bids such as the one on the SC manual, but many if not most ebay sellers price their stuff fairly, as I have found in over a year of dealing with them and with ebay in general.

Heck, A space command 600 remote went for 103.00 on Ebay last night!
Collectors must be getting an interest in the late 60's stuff as well now.
Looks like Steve will have to change the price guide in his website that states that color tv's after 1965 have almost no value!
I have found that remote examples of 1965-1969 television sets can go anywhere from 5.00 for a rough one to 400.00 for a mint working one!
