CRT test jig

I was thinking about the '60's and '70's tube color sets that I need to fix and thought about those CRT test jigs that some shops had. Can anyone recommend a good choice for a CRT test jig that can be used with tube and early solid state sets from the '60's and '70's? Having some sort of test jig on my bench would be much easier than having to squat on the floor or pulling the chassis in and out of a console cabinet in order to repair it.

I have a Sylvania 13" jig, which has adaptors all the way through the 1980s available (probably not available new, but they're around). I like it because it's smaller than the typical 19" RCA jigs. There were roundie CTC-9 based jigs too, which I've seen and passed on many times. Now I kind of wish I had saved one, as they've disappeared.

I'd recommend one like mine, if you can find one, or second would be the RCA which is more common.

Thanks for the information.

I just found this RCA test jig on ebay. $250 seems a little steep considering that it's operating condition is unknown. Then again, it may be a fair price. I'll let the experts on here give their opinion before I go any further
