Interesting article from 1987

It tells about GE's hopeful outlook on its TV business & returning TV production to the U.S. after acquiring RCA.

It goes on to tell about the Enhanced Definition TV system Ge proposed in relation to Japan's MUSE system which would have a 5:3 aspect ratio and 1125 lines of resolution. Kind of a glimpse into the future, huh?

In the article, the author tells of a new singleboard chassis in planning by GE, which would have cut $40 from the price of each set. Was this the CTC-135?
