New finds

Got this load from a local Tv repair man. Had the sets buried in the back of the shop. Are as follows: CTC 39, Admiral SS 880,
Philco, Zenith Chroma color, and a True Tone. All are tube rectangular CRT sets. Missing the back off the Admiral and the Chromacolor. The True Tone is missing a board. I will get that to see if some one has one out there. Yes, I know the RCA has a busted CRT. I got 3 spare Crt's at the same time. My other find is a CTC 15!!!

I like that CTC-39...have not seen a console version of it till now.
The Truetone uses a modular design, some of the modules have IC's, transistors, and tubes on the same board. I think a totally solid state model of the set was built but used the same module connections as the tube version so you could "upgrade" the tube based module to a solid-state one when replacement was necessary.
