dual changer
Sylvania used some of the dual changers like the 1009 in some of their sterero gears. They tried to compete with other audio manufacturers by using high end changers and baffled speakers in their stereo cabinets

Sylvania made some good stuff back then. They offered some great receivers and speaker systems too. Back in the 70's I was asked to look at a Sylvania portable record player. I was surprised by what was brought to me. It had a decent Garrard TT with a magnetic cartridge, a nice integrated amp and detachable swing out speakers (acoustic suspension) with 8" woofers and 2" tweeters. After replacing the stylus and two bad PS diodes, I put on "Harvest" by Neil Young and was floored by the huge sound.
