Yes, and just a year or two before mine (I was born in '56, will be 48 in July). Like Doug, I like those old Zeniths (had a basement full of them in my hometown 30+ years ago) and now have two older Zenith radios (one from 1951, the other from '63) in my apartment. Both work great.

BTW, I tried some time ago (last year, IIRC) to join your Heathkit TV forum, but never got a response from Yahoo! Groups. Did they (or you) ever receive my request to join the group? If not, I will resubmit.

Thanks and kind regards,

Jeff, try applying again. Sometimes things just don't work quite right with Yahoo or even Snotmail for that matter.

One thing though, after you reply you'll receive an automatic response, just reply to it saying most anything so I know that you're you and not a spammer....ya know?

Ha! I'm 38, and it just seems like yesterday that I was unpacking those Chromacolors and System 3's in the shop. Yesterday I had a zillion aches and pains and was thinking it was probably from moving all those heavy sets "back in the day". Next year when I turn 39 I am STAYING that age........

And I suppose both your 39 year olds drive a Maxwell and play the violin too? If you don't know what that means then I'm going to hire you a butler named Rochester to tell you.

Anthony (be careful of the aligator in the moat down in the basement on the way to the vault) Oh Hello Dennis....have you seen Don Wilson? He was supposed to deliver a Candygram for me.

But he's still dead and won't spend any money on violin lessons.

Jack Benny was one of just a few old-timey comedians that were really funny.

(I got all the references Anthony, and I'm 32)

I have the 1969, 1973, 1975 and maybe the 1972 brochure/books.
I do not wish to sell and have no way of scanning. I would be willing to loan
them to you.
However, it may take a couple of weeks to unearth them as they are in my
old bedroom at my parents house.
Next time I go to visit in a couple of weeks i will bring them back.

Let me know

I dug up the brochure and channel selector tag for my 1970 Zenith 23" Chromocolor in the Boydon cabinent. Someday I like to get it operational but I have begun scanning them in but they are on my other computer. When I'm done, I can post them or e-mail them to anyone who is interested.
