wow, a good deal at over 190 dollars? What is special about this set?

It's philco's first TV, that and the unusual styling, they have gone for several times much that in the past.

I'm not a fan of asymetrical cabinet designs. Motorola made one in a similar style.

I'm a fan of old Philco stuff and I like these-not sure if I've seen one in person. It's kinda hard to judge their size, I think. That style does stand out when compared to others sets that were on the market in '48.
