Picked up an Admiral combo

I got a call from my friend Craig {Rental Limo} up in Cudahy a few weeks ago.
I've been super busy so I couldn't pick it up 'till yesterday.{the original reason for having to go up there was for a '50s Jacobsen lawn mower}But it seems like I always come home with Tvs. It appears to be an early '50s though I haven't taken the back off yet. Please pardon the crappy pics but I sorta sneaked this one into the garage so when she sees it later and says "is that new?" I cans say no, I've had it awhile. I learned that from that thread "What did I do!?!?" . There are still some records in the storage in the bottom. The cabinet is pretty good with only some de-lamination at the bottom, and needs refinishing of course but is overall restorable. The only reason I am taking on this project is because even though these are the more common ones, I've been looking for one for quite awhile. I see them on the bay but they are always too far away. Sorry about clogging all of my posts with big 'ol pictures but the file size is too large and won't upload from the "remote source"

I like that it still has the back cover. Even the radio part has its cover {not pictured}

Boy do I love our hobby! You've got a nice console there! The TV itself looks very similier to the Majestic I got. Cabinet is in the same condition too, needs refinishing.

Glad to see that Admiral saved. Good job!

I forgot to mention, Craig found this on one of the spring cleaning throw out days in Cudahy. I love the hobby too, sometimes the fun is sneaking them in like when I was a kid.. ahhhhh.....memories. Guys never grow up, they just grow old!
