GE combo

I just saw this GE combo on ebay. Looks to be early '60's. I must admit I've never seen many GE combo's before. I'd save it but it's 1). too far away and 2). I don't have room for another combo.

That is not the original turntable in that console. The original would have been a VM branded TT.

I'm wondering if this is a custom cabinet that the original combo was fitted in. The finish and hinges look odd, as does the back cover fit. Not a common set, either way.

Something just doesn't look right on this one, like one console was retrofitted into another one?

To all concerned::

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, With the intent of going after it. I thought it had the amp with the 7355 outs but according to sams 512, it sues a 7189 amp. The TV is the M6 chassis.

BUT--It is a BIT too big to fit in my van. I have paid for it already. SO...if ANYONE out there wishes to get it it is yours. DO NOT worry about repaying me, It was not all that much anyway. Perhaps a small donatin to AK if you wish.

But anyway--go get it, and it is yours.
