No idea - built one in 1975, so has to be at least that early. I have a few old Heath catalogs, but I think not specifically covering the transition from tubes to solid state. I'm out of town, but sending myself an email to go look when I get back - I think I do have a catalog that covers the transition from roundie to rectangular.
