I saw one of these at the thrift the other day for $15. Should I get it? It looks like a TV camera, but there's a screen where the lens would be. Neat. I read a long time ago that low power stations wouldn't have to shut down in '09.. is this still true? Because the 2 stations I watch here in Chicagoland (MeTV and MeToo) show all classic programming, and they're also low powered, so I'd be fine if I stuck with them. Ideas?

Go for it ! 15 bux-Big deal. It DOES have a reasonable AM/FM radio in it, too. I have one of 'em, its cute, & I've enjoyed mine.

I have one of these and they're nice little sets. Much better than the $15 TV's that are offered at the discount stores. I've had mine for years and it came in handy during Ivan and Katrina. I'm ticked that I won't be able to use it after 2/12/09 as a true portable TV.
