Unique Maggie on eBay

Here's a unique looking entertainment system. This Maggie looks like it makes a really good picture, and has a sonic remote. Not sure if it is all tube or a hybid... he does mention the HV rectifier. I am guessing that the stereo system is probably solid state. In any case, this one is surely different! It may be big, but looks like it would be a space saver since it stands vertical.

This appears to be very similar to the standard "long" console in circuitry. It is an all-tube TV chassis and all solid state stereo receiver.

I recall seeing one similiar awhile back, I think the cabinet may have been a little different & maybe just a little newer. Unique, works great, but would take a dedicated collector to own one! (in other words, the kind of collector that frequents this site!)

It is quite unique, I remember only repairing 1 or 2 of those in the early eighties.
I bid on it because of it being less than an hour away from me but was thinking "do I really need it"? Also, didn't really have an extra hundred bucks to toss out, Especially after Christmas. Then was outbid in the last few minutes by "recollections for you" Was happy to see that someone else wanted it more than me! Interesting note though, I see by looking through Carlyle's bid history that he bought it off ebay a couple of weeks earlier for 80.00 not working and about 300 or so miles away from him! Looks like he drove a long way, Fixed the set then had to sell it for some reason (possibly his wife?)
