Hey Eric, do you think this is a tube or transistor tv? Is it color?

I'm guessing Color based on the CRT halo and the number of knobs on the front. Probably tubes but maybe someone knows for sure?

I had a set with this same control panel once. It is color and it is a tube set. It dates from the late '60's or early '70's.

That set is from '68. Im no motorola expert, but I think its a TS-921 chassis. I have the same set but in a more plain cabinet. Its all tube. Dont think there is a single transistor on the chassis.

Ya when I was born, I remember all the way til I was about 6, my dad had this exact same set, we wore the heck out of it playing the ol Atari 2600, Then the Nintendo a few years up til it went out, around 1987 or so... Wish we still had it. I just dont remember much about the workings of it, I was too young.. lol
