Bowers & Wilkins is pleased to inform you of the launch of Live from Abbey Road, an innovative new music TV show screening every Thursday evenings on the Sundance Channel at 10PM (E/P)

Inspired by the 75th anniversary of the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, where the Beatles recorded throughout the 60s, Live from Abbey Road is a twelve-episode series featuring the cream of musical talent from around the world. Each sixty-minute episode captures three artists giving intimate performances in the studio and talking revealingly about their work. Shot in high-definition with 35mm lenses, the aim of the show is to capture performances that, in the words of producers Peter Van Hooke and Michael Gleason, "sound like an album and look like a movie".

The impressive range of artists featured in the show includes international stars such as Paul Simon, Dr John and Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, plus newer artists like Corinne Bailey Rae, The Kooks, Snow Patrol, Razorlight and Kasabian.

B&W's relationship with Abbey Road Studios began in the 1970s and we consider it a huge honour to make the reference speaker system used throughout the Abbey Road studio complex. B&W 800 Series loudspeakers were used throughout the recording, mixing and mastering of Live from Abbey Road.

Live from Abbey Road is shown on the Sundance channel on Thursdays at 10pm and will continue at the same time every Thursday until the series is complete.
