Anyone identify this set?

This set is advertised in working condition and is at an auction tomorrow. Tons of 40's 50's and 60's memorabilia. Just wondering if anyone can identify it?
Thanks
Dan

Early to mid '50s console. 50 bux, tops. Might work, but will need a recapping more than likely to work reliably. Looks like its in decent shape otherwise, just dirty.

Dan:

It looks like a 1952 (or so) TraVler based on the shape of the pecilbox. The knob on the left is not original.

We think alike Sandy,, I was thinking 50 bucks tops too. That is if it looks as decent as the pic. Hope I can bring it home cheaper, here is link to auction website with tons of pics.. if you are into old westerns and stuff you will love it.

The aluminum Christmas tree on the left and the matching revolving light on top of the set will probably go for more than the set. They would look good with the set though.

I am gonna bid on the christmas tree,, it is exactly like we had when I was a kid. In fact, could be the same one. I still live in the town I grew up in.

Yup it was a 53 travler. Sold for $175.00 and was in decent shape. Color wheel and aluminum christmas tree sold for $130.00. Multi millionaire was buying everything including the tv. He just lost all his possessions in a home fire and was trying to replace stuff. He bought the Dodge Viper, 2 vettes, motorcycle, tractor which ran him up over $100k. People were talking that he might have spent 1/4 million by the time I left. I left when he bought the tv. Bidding started at $50.00.
