CRT needed for Panasonic Orbitel
Filament's open. Sticker on chassis calls for replacement "150ACB4". Offhand, anyone know of some same-size b/w CRT's from some of the other portable sets that will interchange? I've got an old NOS Sony 6H-50 but the anode connection is different. I don't find the generic replacement # for this tube listed in any of my Sams and these predate this set by a couple of years, so any help here is appreciated!
Thanks, Michael |

i used a tube from one of those cheap korean battery sets to replace a weak one in mine.
you need the short neck type so hit the thrift stores and look for the more boxy sets.

Oribtel CRT
Anyone have a generic (standard) number for this tube? A couple I've looked at in my other sets seem to have proprietary numbers as well!
Thanks, Michael |

the 150 number is a standard metric crt type.
never seen an open heater unless someone goofed with a crt tester.seen plenty of weak ones though

CRT
Sounds like I'll hit the flea market this weekend and look for a shallow-case set. I'd never seen a dead one either but I've got no continuity between any of the CRT pins and I've got voltage on all those on the socket, so...
Thanks, all! |
