Sony KV-32XBR100 OC/CL

There's a 32XBR100 on CL in Anaheim up for sale.Emailed the owner and he says it's in excellent shape. Would love to to see this in person. One of the best sets ever.I doubt it would still be available this weekend.

I had 2 32XBR96 XBR2 sets pass through my hands. One had a very weak CRT and the other one had a minor power supply problem. While the overall picture was excellent, the geometry wasn't very good (particularly noticeable on letterbox movies). $500 seems VERY high for any CRT TV these days, especially one that's about 10 years old and isn't HD. I doubt many people would pay more than $100-$200 for such a set (and even that would take someone who know that this isn't a typical 32" TV).

I would wait and make him an offer unless you really have to have it. It's easy to over pay on something because it was worth a lot only a couple of years ago.
