FYI 1980 Space Age Zenith Console Akron, OH - Videokarma.org TV - Video

Tonight at the Goodwill in Cuyahoga Falls, OH (10 minutes north of Akron, 30 minutes south of Cleveland) there was an unusual Zenith System 3 SL 2541X9 console TV, the one with the front that's like a large silver half circle shape. It's on casters.

They had a lot on it, $100, but it did work and appeared to be in good shape.

Thanks for the thought loomis. 100 might be a bit steep for a system 3, but I'm sure they'll come down when they figure that out after no one buys it.

That isa little steep. There was a Space Phone console at my G'will a couple months ago that was just about mint and the price on that one was only $49.99.

I'd wait a bit and check back. Maybe they will get tired of having it
in there and will price it down to get rid of it.

As far as I know it had the remote. I have a lot of coupons, so it'd be 20% off. Not that I have room for it. I'm sure it'll get marked down too.

We are also in the midst of a terrible snow storm. With that in mind, I don't think this unit will sell very quickly.

It is neat though.
