A short lived show that aired on Fox in the early 90's called Profit....died before its time.

Cop Rock, I'm like one of only 3 people on the planet that actually liked this show.

I'd like to see Ben Casey again. He was my hero was I was a kid. Made me want to be a doctor. Kildare was a wimp, but Ben Casey was a mensch.

I'd also like to see The Fugitive. The original B & W from the mid 60s with David Janssen. Great TV drama.

Also gotta mention Dobie Gillis. With Bob Denver as Maynard G. Krebs ("work!!!") Very funny, and a better character than Gilligan, IMO.

"The F.B.I.'... Don't know if I liked the show or enjoyed listening to the announcer say in that Voice Of God tone, "Starring Efrem Zimbalist, Junior....." <grin>

I'll second Hill Street Blues. One of my favorite scenes:
Sgt. Mick Belker drags handcuffed shady character in by his sleeve; yells, "Sit, hairball!' and shoves him into the chair adjacent to his desk. Deposits box of...ahem, adult appliances, videotapes, whips, etc. on the corner of the desk. Rolls booking report form in the typewriter and yells, "Name?" Shady character replies, "Curtis....Curtis Interruptis." Belker answers ringing phone. "BELKER!" Sweetly and quietly says, "Oh, hi, ma." Curtis rolls eyes.

I agree. Very strange & compelling show...all six episodes of it.

Two others.

Due South, & China Beach.

Ron.

Twin Peaks, of course. Dr Who is my vote. I'll shed a bit of taste and add Riptide and Viper. Forgive me.

Anybody else remember Brothers? Joe the Toe Waters, brothers, Cliff and Lou. That show was very much ahead of its time, and hilarious.

I hear that Cliff has died since. I also hear it is going to be released on DVD.
