LOL, they come up with out-to-lunch pricing on pinball machines and videogames, and simply keep them up until there's a big enough sucker.

Someone up here posted an excellent ultra rare KX1901 for $1500 here, works excellent but no picture (cracked tube). They even posted that it was a curbfind.

Simple: Flag the ad and it will simply go away (for a while). Eventually someone will get the idea (maybe)

People here post the same title with something like Re: or "On Crack" with why the item in question is not even worth near that.

I just use the "-" operand: -rare -vintage

Believe me, anything that flooded is painfully obvious. Metairie is one of the only places on the Eastbank where you might find this kind of stuff.

Heck, a couple of old sets have even popped up here in St. Bernard Parish - that '52 Magnavox combo and that '60/'61 Motorola I parted last year - it was rained on but no saltwater hit it.

I heard it was pretty bad there a friend of mine now lives there and he went there for help cleaning up,but he never came back and he still has the car he borrowed from me, so if you see a nice red Dodge Avenger with MI plates send it home will you lol.Twist his arm and send that combo back with him too.

I have had pretty good luck, but you have to be willing to drive several hundred miles.

I fix, and resell used bicycles on Craigslist in my spare time. If i lived on the west coast i could easily earn over $1000.00 for my fleet because people over there are willing to spend the bucks compared to over here. Last year i sold an old Raleigh Record roadbike for $60.00. On the west coast that bike would of sold for $180.00.

What really bothers me is what I think every time I see it.... humm...Very big heavy old Philco console (not too different than the 12.5" model that I have), missing changer...yuck! But it has a really cool 14" flat side-square corner 1st generation rectangular CRT in the TV...would be a fine table model... Anybody got a chainsaw handy?
