Well I got it and it was totally dead. While troubleshooting I pushed on the the damper diode and it came alive. Seems to have a good picture, I think I see the audio in the picture though.
The construction of this set is amazing. Its just like a 60s Zenith tube set but with transistors. As soon as we see sun again Ill get some good pix of the inside posted.

Yep, those early Zenith solid state TV's are very well built. You should also see one of their horizontal chassis solid state color sets of the early '70's. The chassis looks just like something you'd see in a tube set, except that it has modules and solid state devices instead of tubes.
